Dr. Eurydice Stanley

Dr. Eurydice Stanley is an International Motivational Speaker, Author, retired Army Veteran, and full-time Mommy. She is founder of Amused Media and Productions, LLC, an organizational development company. Her educational sessions leverage nearly 28-years of experience providing training for members of every Department of Defense branch of service as a Senior Human Resources Manager, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2014. In the military, she specialized in presentations and developing research in the areas of leadership, diversity, inclusion, personality, and a wide range of human relations topics.

“Dr. Eurydice” has always been an avid writer. She has published more than 100 articles and authored three books, God’s Grace: Psalms of Love, Laughter, Tears and Praise from Mother to Daughter; God’s Grace II: Pearls of Love and Encouragement for Princesses of All Ages and Lil’ Man, All Boy: Christian MENtorship. She is a John C. Maxwell Certified speaker, trainer and leadership consultant and served on his Presidential Advisory Council, specializing in youth. Students she worked with in the past received numerous awards for innovative community outreach and service. She holds numerous certifications in speech, training, leadership and instructional design with organizations such as Paradigm Personality Labs and the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counselors.

Eurydice’s awards include the Army Distinguished Military Service Medal and distinguished service commendations from the state of Florida for her support of eight Gulf Coast hurricane operations in several key Florida National Guard positions. She received the Adjutant General’s Corps Achievement Medal for supporting Wounded Warriors, was featured on the cover of Military Advanced Education for innovative strategies promoting Service Member education and was twice recognized as an exceptional “Mom Who Serves” on HLN’s Morning Express with Robin Meade.

After losing both of her dearly loved brothers, Quewanncoii C. Stephens, II and Aaron O. Weiss within a calendar year, Dr. Eurydice expanded efforts with her nonprofit, The Transition Foundation, Inc. to include Vet Honor Help Hope. The organization raises awareness for issues impacting the Veteran community, particularly suicide. They host events throughout the year as well as an annual international virtual walk on Veterans Day. She blogs on 50Revelations.com and manages several Facebook pages to include Dr. Eurydice, Family CEO First and Stand United Against Racism.

Born in Paso Robles, California, Eurydice developed a love for travel as an “Army Brat” and throughout her military career. In addition to studying International Business in Lyon, France, she is a legacy graduate of her beloved Florida A&M University, earning a BS in Public Management. A member of her family has attended FAMU since it was founded in 1887. She also attended University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, earning a Master of Arts in Industrial Relations; and Louisiana Baptist University, where she received her PhD in Christian Counseling and Psychology.

Whenever she is not driving her daughter, Grace, and son, Christian, to their next adventures in the family minivan, Eurydice enjoys travelling. She is a proud Silver Star member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and has life memberships with Florida A&M University and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA). Eurydice is a Distinguished Toastmaster with Toastmasters, International and is active in her community. She believes everyone has the responsibility to positively influence the next generation.
